The Black Keys Pull "BlakRoc 2"

Indie rock act the Black Keys have confirmed that they will not be releasing Blakroc 2, a sequel to their first pairing with Dame Dash's Roc-A-Fella Records. A trailer landed online at the beginning of February, but the band says it is unauthorized.
During an interview with WZGC 92.9 FM (via Consequence of Sound), Keys' Patrick Carney denied that the album will see be released anytime soon.
"'Blakroc 2' is not coming out soon, although somehow a trailer that was made two years ago without our permission and then recirculated without our permission,” he said. ”We have stuff recorded for it — about eight songs that I guess are done — but those were all recorded two years ago. So there are no plans for Blakroc 2 to be released as an album.”
