Rihanna Wants To Be Dominated In Bed

Rihanna Wants To Be Dominated In Bed
Rihanna is a superstar, but she says she would prefer to have a man that can dominate her when she's not prancing around onstage in tiny outfits. The singer says she likes to have a man that let her 'be a woman' in the bedroom.
“I play a very dominant role in my life, in every aspect of it," Rihanna says. "And I like to feel like a lady still, at some point. I feel like that’s the time when a guy really gets to be a man, and I get to be a woman. And if I’m being a man in the bedroom too, there’s nothing really in it for me.”

Big Sean Downplays G.O.O.D. Beefs

Big Sean Downplays G.O.O.D. Beefs
Big Sean is quite the diplomatic emcee. When asked about perceived shots fired at his G.O.O.D. Music cohort Kanye West--Yeezy has been called by both The Game and former G.O.O.D. Music artist Consequence--Sean took the high road.
"Kanye, that situation with him and Consequence, that's way personal," Sean explained in an interview. "That's not a random dude dissing. That was somebody who was part of the fam, was all in the fam together and then they had their problems..[Game's 'Otis' diss?] I didn't even take it as a diss. I took it as him doing what he do. Don't he got an album that's about to come out?"
Consequence is prepping the release of his upcoming project Movies on Demand 3

Lauryn Hill Defends Rohan Marley

Lauryn Hill Defends Rohan Marley
Lauryn Hill has issued a statement attempting clarify the reports that her longtime on-again, off-again lover Rohan Marley abandoned her while she was pregnant. Marley isn't the father of Hill's newborn son, but she doesn't say who is nor does she say whether or not they are currently together.
"Mr. Marley and I have a long and complex history about which MANY inaccuracies have been reported since the beginning," the statement reads. "To speculate without the facts can only cause people to form WRONG conclusions. We both value privacy and for that reason defend and preserve our right to it. Contrary to the numerous reports, Mr. Marley did not abandon me while pregnant with his child. We have had long periods of separation over the years but our 5 children together remain a joy to both of us. Thank you for your concern and I appreciate all of the well wishes regarding the birth of my new son."

Lupe Fiasco Upholds Stance On Obama

Lupe Fiasco Upholds Stance On Obama
Lupe Fiasco isn't backing down from his declaration that Barack Obama is 'the biggest terrorist.' During a radio interview in Chicago, the rapper elaborated on why he called out the president and will continue to do so.
“Well first of all, let’s build it all up together," Lupe told Power 92’s Tone Kapone. "We from Chicago, one of the most corrupt cities when it comes to politics,” he said. “You just go around the city and see the political corruption and everything like that, our Barack Obama comes from that. I’m not putting that out there to say that he’s a corrupt dude or anything like that, but understand where we come from politically and what we see, so we keep it 100 when it comes to our political officials.”
“If America is the biggest terrorist organization on earth, if we have the title of being the greatest military wing war machine on the planet, which we have," he added. "We have the biggest military on earth, we have the biggest military budget on earth - so much so that we finance other people’s military. We send them our excess jets and boats and planes to go and kill people. So if the President’s title is not only President of the United States of America, but is also Commander in Chief of the armed forces - the military, the Army, the Navy - and we’re looked at as being the biggest terrorist organization on earth, then why wouldn’t the president or the leader of that biggest terrorist organization on earth be considered one of the biggest terrorists on earth?”

Ciara Joining Epic?

Ciara Joining Epic?
Ciara could be making a switch. With her former mentor L.A. Reid heading over to Epic, rumors have begun to swirl that the pop/R&B starlet would be heading over to the label in an effort to restart her career.
When asked, Ciara was ambiguous about whether or not she would be making the move.
"I think you have to ask L.A. kinda what’s going on," Ciara says. "I can’t really comment on what’s happening and the system. I can’t really say too much. I don’t really know too much about the breakdown of everything. I know a lot of times I speak to my fans [via Twitter] like, “Today was so great,” or “Oh my god, I can’t believe this is happening right now.” There’s things I’ve been saying so I can’t wait to share those things with my fans."

Kelly Rowland Bares All

Kelly Rowland Bares All
Singer Kelly Rowland took it all off for VIBE for this month's cover. The former Destiny's Child star became the latest starlet to pose topless for the magazine--following Keyshia Cole and Ciara.
Rowland also opened up about the mixed feelings she had leaving longtime manager Matthew Knowles. The singer did admit that she was relieved--but also depressed--about the decision.
"I did [feel relieved], but I also felt like, ‘Oh my God, what have I done?!’" she admitted. "I stayed in the house for two days. I was sad. It was like a funeral. I had to deaden that situation in order to start fresh. That’s a very long time to have the same manager and the same label."

Big Boi Hopes To Reunite With Dre

Big Boi Hopes To Reunite With Dre
Outkast fans hoping to hear Andre 3000 and Big Boi trade bars again may not have to wait too long. While there are rumors of an Outkast project being released sometime in 2012, Big Boi says that he thinks chances are good that Three-Stacks could make an appearance on Big Boi's upcoming sophomore album.
Label politics kept 3000 off of Big Boi's 2010 album Sir Lucious Left Foot..., but now that L.A. Reid is chairman of Epic, Big Boi believes the reins could be loosened a bit and the former partners could share a song on his upcoming album, Daddy Fat Sax.
"I think it's very much possible because we have L.A. Reid in our corner now, and he was the first to sign Outkast," Big Boi said.

Beyonce On Her Gay Fans

Beyonce On Her Gay Fans:
Beyonce gave a shout-out to her gay and lesbian fans in a recent interview. Musical divas throughout history have long inspired adoration from gay audiences, and Beyonce is the latest in a long line of singers like Judy Garland, Barbara Streisand, Cher and Diana Ross and more that have embraced the LGBT community that loves them.
"I remember my friends were telling me when the song “Run the World (Girls)” first came out in the clubs the kids were going crazy, and I thought it was so wonderful and I was so excited to know that the reception was so positive," Bey said. "I’ve always had a connection [with my gay fans]. Most of my audience is actually women and my gay fans, and I’ve seen a lot of the younger boys kind of grow up to my music."
"It’s great when I’m able to do the meet and greets, because I’m able to really connect and have conversations," she says. "People look at some of the artists that I admire – like Diana Ross and Cher – and they identity that glamour with Sasha Fierce, and I’ve been really inspired by the language. I have my (gay) stylists and my makeup artist, and all of their stories and the slang words I always put it in my music. We inspire each other. Like I said, we’re one."

"I’m such a f*cking lady. I loved to get glammed up," she says. "I love manis and pedis. I like to go to Vicky Secrets and La Perla because I like lace and bikinis. I’m such a P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thug)"
"It depends on the look and how I’m feeling that day," she added.

Jessica White On Celibacy

Jessica White On Celibacy:
Swimsuit model Jessica White may be known for dating stars like Trey Songz and Sean Penn(?), but the brown-skinned beauty is letting everyone that nobody is getting her goodies again any time soon. White is currently celibate and shared her reasons for giving up 'giving it up.'
"Women nowadays, we connect physically too soon without actually getting to know the person," she says. "If you don’t actually give this person your body and then they let you down, there really isn’t a great disappointment; not like it would be if you have already connected physically. I started going on that journey, and I thought to myself, you know what, the next man that I give my body to will be the man that God brought into my life."
"I never said that I’m going to wait until marriage," she clarified. "I said it would be a man that I actually know is going to put a ring on my finger. It’s just about me connecting with God and God confirming that this is the man he has created for me. I’m a realist about it. People took that out of context. I said the next man that I sleep with hopefully will be my husband. That’s what I said and I meant that."

Drake Focused On Album--Not Singles

Drake Focused On Album--Not Singles
Drake says, creatively, he's never been into recording singles. Despite the fact that the Young Money star routinely releases chart-toppers, Drizzy claims he's more focused on albums and painting a complete picture of himself as an artist. Moreso than just crafting next week's big pop hit.
That seems to be what he's focused on as he's working on his sophomore LP Take Care; crafting a fully-realized album.
"I hate singles," Drake says. "With this album, I want to tell a whole story," he adds. "I don't want people to just hear a piece and judge the album on that."

Anonymous sources are claiming that soul singer/rapper Lauryn Hill gave birth to a baby boy this past weekend. On July 23rd, L-Boogie reportedly had her sixth child. She's kept mum on who the little one's father is, after it was revealed last month that her long-term boyfriend Rohan Marley is not the dad.
But according to an anonymous source for Black Celeb Kids, Lauryn and her newborn are healthy and resting.
"Mother and baby are fine,” says the source, who adds that Hill and family “had a little scare because the baby came out the womb with the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck. All is well now and everyone is happy.”

Ronald “Butch” Lewis Dies At Age 65

Ronald “Butch” Lewis, known in the fight industry for tenaciously landing his light heavyweight champion Michael Spinks a massive $13.5 million purse for what turned out to be a brutal, one round KO at the hands of Iron Mike Tyson, apprently suffered a massive heart attack.
Lewis, age 65 and more active in recent years in the music and TV fields than in boxing, was in or around his stately home in Delaware when he went into cardiac arrest. I am not sure if this happened today (Saturday) or on Friday.
Ironically, the last place I saw Lewis and his client and best buddy Spinks, was at the funeral service of their longtime lawyer (and mine as well), Milton Chwasky. Chwasky died a few months ago.
Other close friends of Lewis were actor Denzel Wasdhington and former Black Entertainment Television Network owner turned NBA Charlotte franchise owner Bob Johnson. The celebrity trio often sat at ringside at major fights together and I think they may have had “ringside seats” together at President Barack Obama’s Inauguration.

Amy Winehouse Dead At 27

Singer Amy Winehouse has been found dead at her flat in North London, police have said.
The death is being treated as 'unexplained'.
The Met said: "On arrival officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene. Enquiries continue into the circumstances of the death. At this early stage it is being treated as unexplained."
Amy Winehouse was a powerhouse of a singer-songwriter, who tragically became far more famous for her off-stage antics than for her undoubted musical talents.
These abilities transcended the traditional genres of R&B, soul and jazz to create a unique sound that was much imitated once she burst onto the musical scene.
Her debut album Frank (2003) drew critical acclaim, but it was the iconic Back to Black (2006) that garnered her an international following, and went on to win her six major Grammys (the joint record for most won by a female artist in one year).
Winehouse was credited with leading the charge in recent years of respected British female musicians, including Duffy and Adele, while her distinctive, bee-hived style made her the muse of other artists and fashion designers including Karl Lagerfield.
Her problems with drug-abuse and self-harm were publicly documented, as was her tempestuous marriage to Blake Fielder-Civil. She took an ironic look at her own life in the song Rehab (2007), but this wariness tragically proved insufficient to protect her from the demons that constantly threatened to overcome her.

Lil Mama Disses Nicki Minaj

Lil Mama Disses Nicki Minaj
Lil Mama continues to join the ranks of has-been or never-was female rappers taking shots at Nicki Minaj. The "Lip Gloss" rapper said an interview that she would never aspire to be Nicki Minaj, and even called out Nicki's trademark 'Barbie' persona and tattoo.
"I'm gonna be me regardless; I'm not changing who I am because of promotion," she said defensively. "I don't look at TV and listen to radio and say, 'Oh, I'm gonna be a hoe now. Oh, I'm gonna do this now. I'm gonna talk like this. I'm gonna get a tattoo that says I'm a doll. I'm gonna get a chain that says I'm a doll. ' I'm Lil Mama, til the day I die, period."
Or til the day your career dies. Which, was reportedly sometime around 2009.

DMX On Joining Maybach Music

DMX On Joining Maybach Music:
Despite the fact that Rick Ross allegedly made an offer to recently-released rapper DMX to join Ross' Maybach Music Group, X gave a short, sweet and decisive answer when he was asked about joining the Miami rapper's label.
"Nah, probably not," X said.
He didn't offer any further explanations, but it remains to be seen if, when and how X can restore the luster to his hip hop career. He's had a ridiculous string of legal mishaps and has been in and out of jail for several years.

Jeezy Subliminally Dissed Rick Ross?

Jeezy Subliminally Dissed Rick Ross?
Jeezy claimed he didn't have any reason to feud with Rick Ross when he was asked about Rozay in a recent interview. But Jeezy also took a not-so-subtle dig at the Miami rapper when explaining his own authenticity.
"We can agree to disagree," Jeezy said. "But if it's a problem, I ain't hard to find. I said what I said, I ain't see no harm in that...In my heart, I'm 100 percent real. You can't pull out nothing in my past that can say I'm not 100 percent real. If you speak on it and that's what you doing, just speaking on it, it's entertainment. I'm not gonna argue with a grown man about me. That might put me in a box."

50 Cent On Album Delay

50 Cent On Album Delay:
50 Cent's follow-up to 2009's Before I Self Destruct has seen numerous delays and changes. 50 has been recording something for over a year, but he hasn't been able to keep any of his previously promised release dates. The rapper acknowledged that he's been focused on dropping the hottest album possible.
"I've worked longer on this album than any of my other projects," 50 explained in an interview. "I've had the opportunity to evaluate the things that I created initially, and go back and revamp things and change things around a bit. Both [Eminem] and [Dr.] Dre have had opportunities to critique themselves, when I was always on the shot clock. So this time, I get a chance to really make sure I feel like it's going to be the right music for this time period."
