Swizz Beatz to Provide Original Music for ‘ABDC’ Final

MTV’s hit reality dance competition series from Warner Horizon Television – “Randy Jackson Presents America’s Best Dance Crew” – will continue Season Five’s incredible run of celebrity guest collaborations as famed music producer and hip hop recording artist Swizz Beatz brings his renowned innovation to the “ABDC” stage. On Thursday, April 1st at 10 p.m. ET/PT, the season’s final two crews will collaborate with Swizz Beatz to create the original music they will each use in their “Last Chance Challenge” – a final performance and opportunity to impress the audience and secure the votes needed to win the overall competition. Our finalists will meet with Swizz Beatz in the studio as he creates tracks that infuse their performance sensibilities and he will watch from the audience as his music comes to life through the dancers..

One of today’s most prolific and in-demand music producers and rappers, Swizz Beatz has worked with a diverse array of the music industry’s biggest and hottest names and has produced chart-topping singles that include Jay-Z’s “On To the Next One,” Eve’s “Tambourine,” “My Drink n My 2 Step” by Cassidy, “Swing Your Rag,” by T.I., and Chris Brown and Lil Wayne’s “I Can Transform Ya.” He also recently collaborated with Grammy® winners Jay-Z, Rihanna and U2 on “Stranded (Haiti Mon Amour)” created to benefit the earthquake relief effort in Haiti. In addition, Swizz Beatz made the successful transition to recording artist with the August 21, 2007, Universal Motown release of his debut solo album One Man Band Man that featured the club-bangers “Money In the Bank” and “It’s Me Snitches.”
